Finnegan sits out, still hopes to play

Cornerback Cortland Finnegan was held out of Friday’s practice and will be listed as questionable with a hamstring injury for Sunday night’s game against the Indianapolis Colts.

Despite working inside and then watching Friday’s practice, Finnegan said he still expects to play in the game after missing last week’s game in Jacksonville.

“I still feel good. Everything is good. I did heavy cardio … I got my mental reps today, because I had two great practices where I felt good,” Finnegan said.

Titans coach Jeff Fisher said Finnegan would be one of a number of players who would be game-time decisions on Sunday night.

“We have a number of players who will be game-time decisions,” Fisher said.

That list includes Jason Jones (shoulder) and linebacker Colin Allred (shoulder), neither of whom practice again Friday.

Others who did practiced Friday and are questionable include cornerback Nick Harper (ribs) and linebacker Stanford Keglar (shoulder).

Those who practiced and are probable include receiver Nate Washington (concussion) and linebacker Keith Bulluck (knee).
Safety Vincent Fuller (forearm) is out.

Titans safety Donnie Nickey was fined $7,500 by the NFL for his horse collar tackle on a kickoff against Jacksonville’s Mike Thomas.
It is the second fine for Nickey this season, as he was fined $5,000 for a helmet-to-helmet hit against Buffalo in the Hall of Fame Game in August.
