Running back Chris Brown appears headed back to the Tennessee Titans.

Brown, who tested the free-agent waters, should be back on the field for the Titans final mini-camp that begins Tuesday, according to Titans coach Jeff Fisher, who spoke to the media Monday from the team's annual charity golf tournament.

Brown was the team's primary starter in 2004 and 2005, rushing for 1,067 yards in '04 in just 11 games.

Last year, he fell to third on the depth chart behind Travis Henry and LenDale White. However, after the Titans refused to pay Henry's $8 million roster bonus and lost him to Denver, and with White having hamstring and weight issues, the door reopened for Brown to return to the team.

He will battle White and rookie Chris Henry for the starting running back job in training camp.
