According to the team's Web site, Jevon Kearse officially became a Philadelphia Eagle Thursday when he passed his physical and signed his eight-year deal worth $66 million.
The deal comes with a $16 million signing bonus and a pair of $2 million roster bonuses in the first two years of the deal.
There had been injury concerns regarding Kearse's twice surgically repaired foot and his ankle which hampered him the second half of the 2003 season.
Those injury concerns apparently played a factor in the Tennessee Titans' decision to let Kearse test the open market and not meet his contract demands rather than franchising him.
