Quarterback Andre Woodson passed for four touchdowns to lead Kentucky to a 35-28 win over Florida State on Monday in the 10th annual Music City Bowl at LP Field.
Kentucky finished the season 8-5 and won back-to-back bowl games for the first time since 1950-51. Florida State finished 7-6.
Woodson, named bowl Most Valuable Player, finished the season with a single-season UK-record of 40 touchdown passes. His 38-yard scoring toss to wide receiver Steve Johnson buried the Seminoles after they had cut the lead to 28-21 in the fourth quarterback on a 1-yard touchdown run by quarterback Drew Weatherford.
Kentucky running back Rafael Little rushed for 152 yards. Antone Smith rushed for 156 yards to lead the FSU offense.
A Music City Bowl record crowd of 68,661, consisting mostly of Kentucky fans, jammed LP Field.
