The Nashville Metros, seeking their first soccer playoff berth since 2001, will host the Central Florida Kraze Saturday at 7 p.m. in a game the team has moved to the BGA field in Franklin.
The Metros (2-4-2) have come off consecutive tie games against Louisiana (1-1), then a scoreless draw with New Orleans last Saturday. They currently reside in fourth place in the Premier Development League Southeast Division with eight points, three behind third-place New Orleans. Bradenton and Mississippi lead with 14 points each.
Forward Ryan McDonald leads the Metros with two goals of the eight total the team has scored this season. He is the son of FRA coach and former Metros player Ken McDonald.
Central Florida (0-4-2) is in last place in the division. The Metros played their ’99 and 2000 seasons at BGA.
