Nedney lost for year with hamstring injury

The Tennessee Titans got bad news Wednesday when it was learned kicker Joe Nedney will be lost for the season with a tear in his left hamstring.

The Titans placed Nedney on injured reserve and added third-string quarterback Doug Johnson to the roster to take his place.

Nedney injured the hamstring on an awkward follow-through on a squib kick when the ball blew off the kicking tee Tuesday.

It is the second consecutive season the Titans will be without Nedney
