The Tennessee Titans agreed to terms with safety Donnie Nickey, one of their own unrestricted free agents on Tuesday.
Nickey, who has spent his entire five-year NFL career with the Titans, has been a key member of Tennessee’s special teams corps during that time.
Nickey had a visit with the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Buffalo Bills were also interested in him before he decided to return to the Titans.
“We’re excited to keep Donnie on our roster,” said Titans General Manager Mike Reinfeldt. “He is a veteran player we can rely upon to work hard, help our depth at safety and be a leader on special teams.”
