No criminal charges will be filed against Tennessee Titans running back LenDale White in a matter that occurred around 2:13 a.m. on Valentine’s Day in his hometown of Denver.

Police responded to 1825 Arapahoe St. in Denver where an alleged assault had taken place on Leslie Joe Hoch, who had been in an argument with three men.

According to the police report, an unidentified man apparently with White began arguing with Hoch after a minor vehicle accident. Hoch claimed that the first man began shoving and striking him and that a man, listed on the police report as believed to be White, hit him with a belt and belt buckle.

The three men entered their vehicle and left the scene before police arrived, according to police. According to the report, Hoch required a trip to the hospital for lacerations.

On Monday, the facts of the case were presented to the Denver District Attorney’s Office, but the case was refused for prosecution, based on evidence that was conflicting in key aspects of the reported version of the matter, according to a statement released by the Denver Police Department on Thursday.
