The second day of Olympic hockey for Nashville Predators representatives was much quieter than Tuesday’s high scoring affairs.

On Wednesday, none of the four current Preds in Vancouver for the 2010 Olympic Games figured in any of the scoring as Martin Erat and the Czech Republic, and Patric Hornqvist and his Swedish teammates were all victorious.

Sweden’s 2-0 win though came at the expense of Germany, which boasts Marcel Goc and Alexander Sulzer.

Former Predators goalie Tomas Vokoun helped the Czechs beat Belarus 5-1.
