Freshman center A.J. Ogilvy scored a game-high 25 points lead No. 13 Vanderbilt to an 80-73 victory over South Carolina on Wednesday at Memorial Gym in the Southeastern Conference opener for both.
The Commodores improved to 16-0, extending their school-record season start.
Ogilvy scored 21 points in the second half to help Vanderbilt pull away after the game was tied midway thrugh the second half.
