Based on their preseason schedule, the Nashville Predators ought to be prepared for road games in 2012-13.

Only two of seven contests will take place at Bridgestone Arena.

The schedule, which the team released Wednesday, begins with a doubleheader (1:30 and 6 p.m. CDT) at Florida and includes to Carolina. St. Louis and Washington. Nashville and Florida split a doubleheader at the BankAtlantic Center to open the 2011 preseason.

The home games will be Sept 25 against St. Louis and Sept. 29 against Carolina.

The last time the Predators played fewer than three preseason contests at home was 2003. That season, they went 19-19-4-2 on the road.

Rookie camp will begin Sept. 14 and veterans will report for the start of training camp a week later. The first on-ice session of camp will be Sept. 22 at Centennial Sportsplex.
