The Nashville Predators will begin the sale of playoff tickets at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Seats for opening-round games will be available at the Bridgestone Arena box office, all area TicketMaster locations or online at and

“Nothing is more exciting in all of professional sports than the Stanley Cup Playoffs,” Nashville Predators CEO Jeff Cogen said in a release. “With home ice in the first round still a very real possibility, now is the best time to secure your tickets.”

As of Thursday morning, the Predators were seventh in the Western Conference standings but had not guaranteed themselves a spot in the postseason.

They have five games remaining, including Thursday night at Colorado (8 p.m., Fox Sports-Tennesssee). Only one of those five is against a team among the top eight in either conference.

The next home game is 2 p.m. Saturday against Detroit. As part of the day’s festivities, the team will conduct a plaza party outside Bridgestone Arena beginning at 9:30 a.m

Playoff tickets start at $26, but the cost could rise based on the team’s finish and opponent.

“Once the Predators playoff opponent and dates have been confirmed, given value pricing, it is likely prices will go up,” Cogen said. “To ensure the best available seat and price, make sure to take advantage of this early on-sale opportunity."

If Nashville makes the playoffs, it will be the franchise’s sixth appearance in seven years.
