Preds fall to Canucks 5-2

Jed Ortmeyer and Martin Erat have scored goals for the Predators, but Vancouver dominated the second and third periods, scoring four unanswered goals to beat Nashville 5-2 at the Sommet Center.

Ortmeyer and Erat both scored in the first period, after which the Preds had the lead, 2-1.

Taylor Pyatt scored in the second period for Vancouver to tie the game, then Daniel Sedin scored two consecutive goals in the third period to give the Canucks a 4-2 lead. Trevor Linden scored the last goal for Vancouver.
