The Nashville Predators added a couple of forwards at the trade deadline today, bringing in Brandon Bochenski from the Anaheim Ducks for future considerations and Jan Hlavac from the Tampa Bay Lightning for a seventh round draft pick in the 2008 draft.
Bochenski, 25, has played in 113 career NHL games since the 2005-06, scoring 51 points. He began the season with the Boston Bruins, playing 20 games and notching six assists before being traded to the Ducks for future considerations on Jan. 2.
Hlavac, 31, is a veteran of 418 career NHL games since the 1999-00 season and has scored 211 points. The Prague, Czech Republic, native signed with the Lightning as a free agent on June 14, 2007 after playing the past three seasons in Europe, notching 31 points in 41 games.
