Radulov helps Russia past United States at World Championships

BERN, Switzerland – Alexander Radulov assisted on Konstantin Gorovikov’s game-winning goal with 1:47 to play as Russia defeated the United States 3-2 in a World Championship semifinal match on Friday.

Radulov’s shot went in off Gorovikov with 18 seconds remaining on a hooking penalty against T.J. Oshie.

The Americans led 1-0 on Dustin Brown’s goal at 3:46 of the second period but fell behind when the Russians scored twice in approximately three minutes. Kyle Okposo tied it 2-2 when he scored with 1:57 to play in the second.

It was Radulov’s sixth assist of the tournament and his third in two games of the medal round. He also has scored three goals.

Russia will face Canada in the championship game Sunday. The U.S. will play Sweden for third place.

Man, that hurts! I would imagine Suter isn't feeling too good right now. On the other hand, maybe he's trying to convince Rad to return! or maybe not lol
