Brandt Snedeker will add to local flood relief efforts when he hosts the Fourth Annual Franklin American Mortgage Charity Cup, Oct. 17 and 18 at The Golf Club of Tennessee.

Snedeker will captain a team of Southeastern Conference alumni, administrators and celebrities against a similar group from the Atlantic Coast Conference led by fellow PGA Tour member Lucas Glover in a four-ball Ryder Cup-style competition.

“My wife Mandy and I really wanted to find a way to help our community which is still struggling today,” Snedeker, a Nashville native and Vanderbilt graduate said. “We are committed to make this a special golf tournament that will create a positive result for those who are still struggling from this awful flood.”

In three years since its inception, the event, which takes place in conjunction with the Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl, has raised more than $150,000 for local charities.
