Wide receivers Chris Johnson and Brandon Belvin and linebacker Maurice Davis have signed free agent contracts, which brings to six the number of Tennessee State players who will take part in NFL camps this summer.

Johnson, a Glencliff graduate, and Belvin each signed with the Oakland Raiders. Davis, a 2008 All-OVC selection, signed with Green Bay.

Running back Javarris Williams, the OVC offensive player of the year, was a seventh-round pick of the Kansas City Chiefs last Sunday. A day later, offensive linemen Cornelius Lewis and Cecil Newton signed with Indianapolis and Jacksonville, respectively.
