Tickets for Olympic qualifying soccer on sale Wednesday

Individual game tickets for the 2012 Olympic qualifyng soccer matches March 22, 24 and 26 at LP Field will go on sale 10 a.m. Wednesday.

Two Group A matches will take place each day and the United States will take part in the second. The Americans will play Cuba on March 22 (8 p.m,), Canada on March 24 (6 p.m.) and El Salvador on March 26 (8 p.m.).

The U.S. under-23 men’s national team competes in this event, which determines two Olympic qualifiers from the CONCACAF region.

Group B pool play will take place in Carson, Calif., with Mexico, Honduras, Panama and Trinidad and Tobago. Tickets for those matches also go on sale Wednesday.

The top two finishers from each pool will advance to the semifinal round in Kansas City and the finalists will qualify for the 2012 London Olympics.

Tickets range from $20 to $199 and can be purchased at the LP Field ticket office, through TicketMaster outlets, by phone at (800) 745-3000 or through the U.S. Soccer Federation at ussoccer.com.
