The Tennessee Titans have gone from one punter to three punters, agreeing to terms with Reggie Hodges to the 53-man roster and A.J. Trapasso to the practice squad.
Also, it appears that regular punter Craig Hentrich won't be going onto injured reserve, as the Titans have waived cornerback Cary Williams from the 53-man roster.
The Titans had narrowed the competition down to Hodges and Trapasso in workouts on Tuesday, and decided to go with Hodges, who averaged 42.8 yards per kick in 12 games for the New York Jets last year. By keeping Trapasso, too, however, Tennessee will have options at the position.
The Titans lost Hentrich to a calf injury in Sunday's game.
There is the possibility that the Titans would bring Williams back to the practice squad if he clears waivers on Wednesday.
