Restricted free agent defensive end Dave Ball has signed his tender from the Tennessee Titans, his agent Bruce Tollner confirmed.
Ball received a second-round level tender from the Titans and will earn $1.809 million this season.
Ball was signed by the Titans in 2008 after being out of the NFL the previous year, and has become a valuable part of Tennessee’s defensive line rotation. He had 4.5 sacks for the Titans in 2008 and also had an interception return for a touchdown against the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving that year.
With the departure of Kyle Vanden Bosch to the Lions as a free agent, Ball’s role could increase this season as he is currently penciled in as the starter at right defensive end in a platoon with Jacob Ford.
Ball was originally a fourth-round pick of the San Diego Chargers in 2004 and also played two seasons with the New York Jets.
But of course he is going to sign the tender for gods sake TN was the only team that gave him a chance to be a starter!! Coach 500 believes he can make a pro bowler out of the water boy and win with him..
035, time to fess up. What team do you really pull for?
What does it matter 1, any team is better than this mediocre organization with their boring 500 coach, and their stingy good for nothing Owner Bud Adams! I am a fan of whichever team shows me they are willing to spend to win and please their corwd!
Just as I thought, a troll. How pathetic.
Why insult trolls?
