No sweat.

One of the expected benefits of the new collective bargaining agreement, negotiated through the lockout, was a simplified pay scale for incoming rookies.

If the Tennessee Titans are any indication, that’s exactly how it worked out. The team announced Friday afternoon — one day before the first training camp workout — that it came to terms with the remaining five members of its 2011 draft class, including first-round pick Jake Locker and second-round choice Akeem Ayers.

Deals with four players were announced Thursday evening.

Locker will begin training camp with the rest of the team, therefore, while free agent quarterback Matt Hasselbeck, the presumed starter, must wait until next week before he can be on the field.

Ayers, a linebacker, has chance to make an immediate impact as the defense transitions to a new scheme under coordinator Jerry Gray.

Defensive linemen Jurrell Casey (third round) and Karl Klug (fifth round) and defensive back Tommie Campbell (seventh round) also agreed to terms.
