The Tennessee Titans found need and value with the No. 6 pick in the draft, selecting West Virginia cornerback Adam ?Pacman? Jones in the first round.
The selection of Jones is a bit against the grain from what the Titans have done in recent years with their cornerbacks. Jones, at 5-9 1/2, 187 pounds, is smaller than what the Titans have drafted in recent years at the position.
The speedy Jones will immediately compete for the starting job along with Andre Woolfolk and Tony Beckham to replace the departed Samari Rolle and Andre Dyson.
Jones also excelled as a punt returner for the Mountaineers, averaging 14.8 yards per return last season. He averaged 22.8 yards per return on kickoffs.
