Titans sign CB Hood to active roster

The Tennessee Titans have signed cornerback Rod Hood to the 53-man roster on Thursday, and waived receiver Dominique Edison to make room.

Hood, who spent time with the Arizona Cardinals, was with the Cleveland Browns in training camp and preseason and also spent time with the Chicago Bears briefly after the Browns released him.

Hood visited the Titans the same day the team signed safety Kevin Kaesviharn. He started 14 games for the Cardinals last year and in the Super Bowl for the NFC champs.

Edison was the Titans' sixth-round pick this season from Stephen F. Austin.
