Staff reports

Tennessee Titans quarterback Vince Young was cited for assault in an incident at a northwest Dallas strip club early Sunday morning.

Police said Young arrived at Club Onyx just before 3:30 a.m. Sunday and was speaking to management in a small office when a club employee allegedly flashed an upside down “Hook em Horns” hand sign – a show of disrespect to Young’s alma mater the University of Texas.

Surveillance video showed Young and club employee Creiton Kinchen exchanging words and then a few minutes later a scuffle broke out. Kinchen suffered a cut lip.

Young was gone by the time police arrived, but media reports indicate he cooperated with investigators and went to police headquarters where he was cited but not arrested.

He faces up to a $500 fine.

I long for the day when VY is referenced as "EX Titan quarterback".

What is it with these TITians and strip clubs?

Vince Young is nothing but a spoiled "punk" and wants to take the place of Pacman Jones. They have all got to be in strip clubs for some unknown reason. Hopefully the Commissioner of the NFL will suspend his ass for a few games and then his old dad, Bud Adams will get the message that Vince Young should go and the Titans will be much better off. Has either of the other QBs on the roster been in the news during their football careers for fighting in stip clubs. I think this is a black athlete thing.

This is like a 'badge of honor' for sports celebrities.

What is really sad about this is that VY is supposed to be a father figure now for Steve McNairs boys. After all they been thru with the murder and adultery in Steve McNairs life you would think VY would have thought before he acted on this or he should not say hes going to be a father figure to these boys if he can't live up to it.
