PHILADELPHIA _ The Tennessee Titans quarterback Vince Young missed the team's flight Saturday to face the Philadelphia Eagles and paid his own way to arrive here.

Young started today's game against the Eagles anyway and threw a 14-yard touchdown pass to Ben Troupe on the Titans opening drive.According to the Eagles radio broadcast, an apologetic Young asked Coach Jeff Fisher to let him start in the game, despite his missing the team plane, which departed about 20 minutes late Saturday.

Young will likely be fined over the incident.

Also, the Tennessee Titans will be without two defensive starters today as they face the Philadelphia Eagles.

Cornerback Reynaldo Hill (ankle) and defensive end Travis LaBoy (concussion) are both inactive.

In addition to that, defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth, back from a five-game suspension, won't start, giving way to Randy Starks. Haynesworth will be part of the defensive tackle rotation today.

That rotation will lose Tony Brown, who will start at end in place of LaBoy, who was injured against Baltimore and did not practice all week.

In Hill's place, rookie Cortland Finnegan, the Titans' normal nickelback, will start. Vincent Fuller will play the nickel spot.

Other inactives include Chris Brown, Antwan Odom, Ben Hartsock, Jusstin Geisinger, Jonathan Orr and Josh Savage.
