Florida State lineman dies
Linebacker Devaughn Darling of Florida State died Monday morning after collapsing during an off-season workout at the Tallahassee campus. The cause of death was unknown at press time. At the time, Darling was working out with his 18-year-old twin brother Devard, a wide receiver for the team. Darling was slated to start at outside linebacker next season following a year on special teams as a freshman. In seven games this season, he totaled 11 tackles and one sack.
