The Nashville Metros plan to enjoy their televised moment in the California sun today as they take on the Los Angeles Galaxy in the second round of the 2001 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.
They're not expected to beat the major league soccer team as the two tussle before Fox Sports World cameras, which will be aired locally on Comcast Cable's digital Channel 105 beginning at 9 p.m. And season-wise they've got a more important game Friday night when they travel to Indianapolis for a match against fellow A-League opponent the Indiana Blast.
That doesn't mean they plan to roll over for their major league counterparts, though.
