Bridgestone/Firestone North American Tire will become a presenting sponsor of the Gaylord Hotels Music City Bowl in an effort to boost slumping ticket sales for the annual college football event.
The move, which will have both Gaylord Hotels and Bridgestone included within the bowl logo, is believed to be a first of its type.
The college football post-season game will be played Dec. 31 at The Coliseum and pit teams from the Southeastern and Big Ten conferences.
