Henderson joins staff at Catholic Charities
Trevor Henderson has joined Catholic Charities of Tennessee, Inc., as program coordinator for the Bridges to Care program, which serves Davidson County's uninsured residents. He was previously a member of the support team at the Campus for Human Development.
Henderson, who is a native of Northern Ireland, has more than 13 years of management and supervisory experience providing a range of social services and emergency relief services in several countries including Tajikistan and Hong Kong. Henderson is a member of the Board for Sister Cities, Nashville.
AMEC's Bolton named to EPA committee
Rick Bolton, environmental services unit manager in AMEC's Nashville Earth & Environmental office, has been appointed by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to a two-year term on the Clean Air Act Advisory Committee (CAAAC).
Bolton has served as vice-chairman of the Tennessee Air Pollution Control Board since 1997 and as a board member since 1982. An active participant in environmental legislative and regulatory issues, he has served as chairman of the Environmental Committee for the Tennessee Chamber of Commerce since 1990.
The Allen & Roberts Group
Paul Allen and Jody Roberts, both vice presidents of Wiley Bros-Aintree Capital, LLC, have formed the Allen & Roberts Group. The group advises high net worth professionals in portfolio management, retirement planning and wealth transfer strategies. The group also advises corporate, organizational and pension plans.
Allen and Roberts have a combined experience of more than 16 years in the financial services industry. Both are candidates for certified financial planner.
First Tennessee adds Hawkes to staff
Bob Hawkes has joined First Tennessee as a vice president of the bank's Wealth Management Division. Formerly an investment representative with the Charles Schwab Private Client division, Hawkes has joined First Tennessee to assist clients with their individual and business financial planning needs.
Hawkes holds a certified financial planner designation and a degree from Florida Atlantic University.
Local attorneys selected by Tennessee Bar Foundation
Eleven Nashville attorneys have recently been elected Fellows of the Tennessee Bar Foundation, an association of 593 attorneys across the state. The board of trustees extended invitations to membership, which is a position of honor, to 31 attorneys this year. The Bar Foundation's purpose is two-fold, to honor attorneys who have distinguished themselves in the profession and to administer a grant-making program that supports law-related public interest projects. Neal and Williams join Skyline Medical board
Gregory Neal and Julie Brown Williams have been elected to the board of trustees for Skyline Medical Center.
Dr. Neal, a board-certified general surgeon, is affiliated with Associates in General Surgery with offices in the Skyline Medical Plaza. He has served in numerous leadership positions for Skyline Medical Center, including most recently as president of the medical staff from 2002-2004. Last year, he was appointed state chair for the Cancer Liaison Program of the Tennessee Chapter of the American College of Surgeons' Commission on Cancer. The three-year appointment charges him with working with other physicians to improve prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer throughout Tennessee, as well as representing the state on the national level.
Dr. Williams retired last year after a distinguished 35-year career in education, including 14 years as an English teacher at Overton and Whites Creek high schools, and 16 years as assistant principal and principal at Hunters Lane High School. In 2002 she assumed the duties of assistant superintendent for human resources and later assistant superintendent for high schools for the Metro school system. Currently Dr. Williams serves as an adjunct professor at Belmont University and is an "exemplary educator," working for the State Department of Education.
Safer elected to ACPAFP board
Howard Safer, head of the Nashville office of Regions Morgan Keegan Trust, was named to the board of directors of the Association of CPA Financial Planners (ACPAFP). Safer has been recognized as a leader in the financial services industry during his 30-year career. J.K. Lasser's New Rules for Estate and Tax Planning recognized Safer and Regions Morgan Keegan Trust as Top Professional Advisors in 2002.
Centennial Medical Center names four new trustees
Centennial Medical Center has named the following individuals to its board of trustees:

Belmont University professor Dr. Harry Hollis was elected to serve as chairman of the board. Dr. Dyer Rodes II, chief of Centennial's anesthesiology department will serve as vice chairman.
CBRE awards Massey honor
CB Richard Ellis has recognized Steve Massey as one of the top producers in the world and has named him to the Colbert Coldwell Circle for his 2004 sales accomplishments.
Massey joined CB Richard Ellis in 1985 and quickly established himself as a multifamily property expert in investment property sales and has been responsible for considerations exceeding $2 billion.
While Massey serves many Southeastern markets, he focuses on Nashville, ranking numerous times as the No. 1 sales professional in CBRE's Nashville office.
Alive Hospice names Rimas C.O.O.
Alive Hospice, Inc. has hired Edie Rimas, R.N, B.S.N., MHA, as chief operating officer. Rimas will serve as Alive Hospice's first chief operating officer. Rimas will be responsible for patient services, medical services, volunteer services and The Grief Center at Alive Hospice. She will also be responsible for new program development.
Rimas most recently served as chief operating officer for Hospice of Chattanooga. She brings to Alive Hospice 21 years of experience in the end of life care field.
Haskins joins staff at McKendree Village
Ronald A. Haskins, who has more than 15 years of experience managing environmental services for health care facilities, has joined the staff of Sodexho Senior Services at McKendree Village as director of housekeeping and laundry services. Haskins was previously associated with Crothall Healthcare Services as director of housekeeping at St. Thomas Hospital. Haskins' past experience includes operating his own janitorial firm in New Jersey. There he was vice president of the local NAACP chapter and planned and hosted the first Small Business Minority and Women's Conference of Central New Jersey. Haskins has a B.A. degree in business management and human relations from Trevecca Nazarene University.
Katcher Vaughn & Bailey adds associate
Katcher Vaughn & Bailey Public Relations, Inc., has added Taylor Loyal as an associate account executive. Before joining KVBPR, Loyal served as an education reporter for the Jackson Sun and previously held the same position for the Daily News in Bowling Green, Ky. While at the Daily News, Loyal started a monthly Teen Roundtable, a forum for students to discuss topics ranging from racism to music. Loyal holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from Western Kentucky University.
Sellers joins SeeMore Golf
SeeMore Golf, a manufacturer and marketer of golf products and equipment, has hired Pat Sellers as national sales manager.
As part of his duties, Sellers is responsible for managing and recruiting SeeMore Golf's territory sales representatives, consulting on product development and design and managing all marketing efforts.
Prior to joining SeeMore Golf, Sellers was a territory sales manager for Top Flite/Ben Hogan. He has also served as an agent to more than a dozen PGA Tour professionals and has caddied for notable players such as Loren Roberts and Tom Lehman.
Martin, Burns to run Cumberland Bank branch
Kaye Martin and Linda Burns have been named branch manager and assistant branch manager, respectively, for Cumberland Bank's Gallatin office.
Martin, formerly a junior commercial lender with Cumberland Bank, will be responsible for daily operations of the branch and will oversee consumer lending.
