Gaither named VP at CB Richard Ellis
Paul Gaither has been named first vice president at CB Richard Ellis.
Gaither, who has been associated with the CB Richard Ellis Investment Properties Group since 1997, was previously a vice president at the firm, where he specializes in providing investment advisory services for both private and institutional shopping center owners.
A retail investment specialist, Gaither coordinates new business development, due diligence, financial underwriting, client relations and assignment execution.
Bone McAllester Norton hires High-McAuley
Bone McAllester Norton PLLC has announced that Susan High-McAuley has joined the firm as a member.
High-McAuley, whose background focuses on business law, civil litigation, employment law and real estate, previously practiced law with the Nashville-based firm of Lewis, King, Krieg and Waldrop for seven years.
In addition to her civil practice, she has also worked with both the Tennessee Court of Appeals and the Court of Criminal Appeals. Immediately prior to joining Bone McAllester Norton, High-McAuley served as staff attorney to the Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals. She served as law clerk to the Judge Samuel L. Lewis on the Court of Appeals for two years.
High-McAuley graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin and earned her law degree from the University of Tennessee.
BGA names Parrish VP of advancement
W. Scott Parrish has joined Battle Ground Academy as vice president of advancement.
Parrish will oversee four major administrative areas including communications, admissions, development and alumni. Parrish will be responsible for the management oversight of each of the areas.
Parrish, a 1976 BGA graduate, previously served as a vice president for Turner Supply. He has more than 25 years of management experience and has served in leadership positions in several associations and charities, including as president of the Industrial Distribution Association.
Parrish also served as the 2003-2004 president of the BGA Alumni Association. He is a graduate of Vanderbilt University.
GuestHouse taps Hansen as executive director
GuestHouse International Franchise Systems Inc., the franchisor of the GuestHouse International Inn & Suites hotel brand, has announced the appointment of Mark Hansen to executive director of franchise development.
Hansen is a 30-year veteran of the hospitality industry. Before joining GuestHouse International, he was director of emerging markets and industry segmentation for Choice Hotels International. Prior to that, Hansen held senior franchise development positions with WestCoast Hospitality Corp., Prime Hospitality Corp. and Cendant Corp.
He began his career with Holiday Inns Inc., and with Promus Companies.
