Candace Parker scored 23 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead top-ranked Tennessee to an 81-68 victory over 25th-ranked Vanderbilt on Sunday before a sellout crowd at Memorial Gym.
The Lady Vols have defeated the Commodores 15 straight times dating back to 2002.
Vanderbilt rallied from an early 17-2 deficit to cut the lead to 51-50 with 13:59 remaining on a 3-pointer by Christina Wirth. Tennessee answered with a 7-0 run and remained comfortably ahead the rest of the way.
Wirth led the Commodores (19-7 overall, 8-3 SEC) with 14 points. Tennessee, which lost to LSU on Tuesday, improved to 23-2 and 9-1.
