SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Vanderbilt scored six of the final eight goals but lost 19-13 to Notre Dame in the first round of the NCAA lacrosse tournament on Sunday.

Notre Dame (19-11), broke the tie and went ahead to stay with a 13-3 run, which included the first four goals of the second period.
