Two men allegedly got into an argument with a homeless man on Union Street around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, police told NewsChannel5 [1].
Police found the homeless man with a cut to his upper body near the Sheraton Nashville. Another man with a cut on his hand was located a short distance away on Capitol Boulevard.
The two men were allegedly kicking and beating the homeless man when he pulled a knife in an attempt to defend himself, police said.
The homeless was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are still investigating.
