A murder suspect Metro police say should be considered armed and dangerous was added Thursday to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s Top 10 Most Wanted list.
Police have been searching for Cristofer Lopez-Valentino, 21, of 627 Charles E. Davis Blvd., since Jan. 6 [1] — the day he allegedly opened fire on James R. Gatlin, his girlfriend’s cousin who had just been in a fight with another person.
According to witnesses, the suspect stood over the victim and continued to shoot him in the head.
Lopez-Valentino faces one count of criminal homicide.
A fight — that did not include Lopez-Valentino — broke out at the J.C. Napier public housing devlopment
Police describe 21-year-old Valentino as man of Puerto Rican descent. He has black hair and brown eyes, stands 6-foot, 3-inches tall and weighs 200 pounds.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Cristofer Lopez-Valentino is urged to call the TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND. There is a $1,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.
