A Nashville man listed on the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s Top 10 Most Wanted list was arrested Friday in Pasco County, Fla.
Police had been searching for Cristofer Lopez-Valentino, 21, of 627 Charles E. Davis Blvd., since Jan. 6 — the day he allegedly opened fire on James R. Gatlin, the person who had just been in a fight with his girlfriend’s cousin.
He was added to the Top 10 list in Jan. 21. He faces one count of criminal homicide.
Lopez-Valentino was arrested after law enforcement received a tip on his location. He hid in the house but was found and identified by his birth certificate, police said.
He is being held as a fugitive from justice in a Florida jail. An extradition will be scheduled soon.
