The Tennessee Titans and long snapper Ken Amato agreed to a two-year extension on Wednesday that will keep him off the free agent market.
Terms of the deal were not immediately disclosed.
Amato has served as the Titans regular long snapper and as an emergency backup linebacker since joining the team in 2003.
“Ken said throughout the whole process that he wanted to stay in Tennessee, and the Titans wanted to keep him,” agent Bob Huebner said.
Amato is the third Titans unrestricted free agent to agree to a new contract, joining guard Eugene Amano and backup safety Donnie Nickey.
