A convicted felon, who has been arrested 50 times, is facing criminal homicide charges in the fatal shooting of a 43-year-old Ashland City man, police said.
Michael Carver, 53, allegedly argued with and then shot the man as he attempting to collect money at Carver’s 4207 Tennessee Ave. home.
The victim was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. Police have not released his identity because they are still attempting to notify his family.
Both Carver and the victim have extensive arrest histories. Carver has convictions for felony cocaine possession, aggravated assault, assault and domestic assault.
