Mt. Hope Cemetery in Franklin has increased the amount of a reward it’s offering for information on vandalism there after a second round of destruction was reported last week.
The cemetery’s board is now offering $1,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those who damaged three vases and a flagpole attached to a headstone last week. Around April 22, police responded to reports [1] that as many as 14 headstones were pushed over and vases were broken, potentially costing thousands of dollars to replace.
Williamson County Crime Stoppers is also offering an additional $1,000 for information about the crimes. Those with information can call Crime Stoppers at 615-794-4000, or text the keyword 615FPD along with a message to 847411.
