Police hope the public can help identify the two gunmen who robbed the U.S. Bank at 5312 Harding Pike on Thursday morning.
The two men walked into the bank shortly after 10:30 a.m., armed with handguns, police said. After bank employees handed over the cash, the men fled on foot.
Police described the two suspects as white men in their late 20s or early 30s, one wearing a camouflage ball cap and a tan T-shirt. The other had short dark hair and wore a blue short-sleeved, collared shirt and sunglasses.
Both man covered their faces during the robbery.
Metro police and the FBI’s Violent Crimes Task Force urge anyone with information about the robbery to call the task force at 232-7500 of Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
