A news release on U2.com confirmed a rumor that has been circulating for weeks: U2 will add Nashville to its 2011 North American 360° tour.
The will be the legendary rock band’s first stop in Nashville since they played at Vanderbilt Stadium Dec. 2, 1981. The concert will be performed July 2 at Vanderbilt University.
Special guests for the show will be up-and-coming pop-artists Florence and the Machine.
Tickets for the show ($30, $55, $95 & $250) go on sale to the general public Friday, Oct. 29 and can be purchased at LiveNation.com, Ticketmaster locations, the Sarratt Box Office, or by phone at 1-800-745-3000.
U2.com subscribers can enter a special advance presale that begins at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26 and ends at 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28.
