The National Weather Service has placed the Nashville area under a winter weather advisory and is forecasting the possibility of snow and freezing drizzle up until noon on Tuesday.
The Tuesday forecast calls for snow in the afternoon with an accumulation of less than an inch. The day should by cloudy and offer a high of 34 degrees. The low Tuesday night could dip to 20 degrees.
Wednesday and Thursday are expected to be fairly sunny and see highs of about 27. The lows for both nights could plummet to the 12- to 13-degree mark.
