Police searching for suspects in shooting death of teen

Police are searching for a suspect or suspects in Monday night's shooting death of 15-year-old Steven Brown Jr.

Just after 7 p.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting at the 700 block fo Rowan Drive in North Nashville. They discovered the teen lying in the street with a gunshot wound to his hip.

Brown, a student at Cohn Alternative School, was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he later died. Police have yet to discover a motive for the shooting.
