A citizen’s complaint led undercover detectives on Tuesday to seize a cache of illegal drugs, guns, vehicles and other items, Metro police said Wednesday.
Following the execution of a search warrant at 4709 Nebraska Ave. in Sylvan Park, 29-year-old Nathan Staab and 25-year-old Paul Ticer face charges of felony drug possession within 1,000 feet of a school, possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of the crooks with guns law.
Both men were held in jail in lieu of a $21,000 bond.
At the residence, detectives allegedly found a loaded 9 mm handgun, a rifle and a shotgun, as well as 3 grams of psychedelic mushrooms, 88 steroid pills, 30 grams of marijuana, a 1998 Jeep Wrangler, a 2003 Buell motorcycle, three computers and a surveillance system with six night-vision cameras.
Police said the residence was within 1,000 feet of Sylvan Park Elementary Paideia Design Center.
