The man wanted by police for allegedly stabbing his estranged wife in a state employee parking lot last week surrendered Wednesday morning.
Michael L. Seals is charged with attempted murder, aggravated stalking and criminal contempt of court. Seals, 51, called the Emergency Communications Center at 1:45 a.m. and said he wanted to surrender.
Police allege Seals stabbed Tina Seals [1] in the parking lot at Fourth Avenue North and Harrison Street at 5 p.m. on June 6. She suffered a non-life-threatening wound to her back.
At the time of the stabbing, Michael Seals was under an order of protection to stay away from his wife. He is currently in jail in lieu of $101,000 bond.
