The Tennessee Titans Kenny Britt will sit out of the team’s first regular season game on Sept. 9 following a one-game suspension handed down from the league, according to media reports.
The reported suspension comes after Britt’s latest off-the-field infraction when he was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence [1] at an entrance gate to Ft. Campbell in July.
The Titans removed Britt from the physically unable to perform list [2]on Tuesday, meaning he would have been able to start the regular season opener pending action from the league.
The news was first reported by The Tennessean, and nfl.com is also reporting the one-game suspension.
