Longtime Tennessee Titans long snapper Ken Amato has settled his worker’s compensation claim against the team.
The Titans and Amato, who parted ways in the offseason, agreed to the lump sum of $155,000 in compensatory damages for the injuries. A physician determined that Amato suffered a 25 percent permanent partial disability from head, neck, shoulder, ankle, knee and back injuries, according to a court filing .
Amato is also entitled to further medical treatment from Titans-authorized physicians for complications from the injuries, according to the agreement.
The Titans signed Amato in August 2003. He played in more than 100 games during his nine seasons with the squad.
