Davidson County Juvenile Court judge candidate Shelia Calloway received the most recommendations in a survey of 560 members of the Nashville Bar Association. Crawford, a juvenile court magistrate, narrowly edged out colleague Carlton Lewis in overall rating of recommendation.
Calloway received 180 “highly recommended” votes, while Lewis received 160 votes in the same category. Juvenile court magistrate Sophia Crawford received 125 highly recommended votes.
The Metro Council will vote to appoint the new juvenile court judge tonight.
The selected candidate will replace Betty Adams Green, a longtime juvenile court judge who announced her retirement  in August.
