Crain promotes Theiss to VP
Crain Construction, Inc., has promoted Lizabeth Theiss  to vice president of business development.
Theiss (pictured), who joined Nashville-based Crain in 2004 and previously served as director of business development, will serve on the company’s executive board and be involved in strategic decision making.
“Lizabeth has been instrumental in building our business across the region and in establishing key relationships with our customers, partners, industry associations and the Nashville community,” Michael Ranking, Crain Construction president, said in a release.
A design/build construction management and general contracting services company, Crain has locations in 12 states across the Southeast.
TriStar names McKamey to direct Spring Hill facility
TriStar Centennial Medical Center announced today that Keri McKamey  has been hired as the first director of the soon-to-open TriStar ER located in Spring Hill, Tenn.
McKamey most recently served as director of emergency services for Heritage Medical Center in Shelbyville, Tenn. She also has a background in inpatient and outpatient surgery nursing roles.
“Securing a strong and compassionate leader with the knowledge and experience necessary to lead an Emergency Room was an essential first step in our commitment to providing quality emergency care serving Maury and Williamson Counties,” Joseph Mazzo, vice president of clinical operations for TriStar Centennial, said in a release.
The TriStar ER, which is slated to open in early 2013, will provide 24-hour emergency services from board-certified physicians. The facility will have emergency diagnostic and treatment services with a comprehensive laboratory and state-of-the-art imaging capabilities. A helipad will also be installed to help expedite patient transfer should they need a higher level of care.
Stratasan adds business development executive
Stratasan has hired Kyle C. Skiera  to serve as a business development executive and as a clinical and operations specialist.
Skiera brings to the Nashville-based company experience in health care analytics, patient satisfaction measures and strategic business development.
Prior to joining Stratasan, Skiera worked with iVantage Health Analytics and Press Ganey Associates (via the acquisition of Data Advantage, LLC), serving as a development executive and business analyst. He played a key role in the development and marketing of two of health care’s newest ratings indexes: The Hospital Value Index and The Hospital Strength Index.
Skiera is a graduate of Samford University, where he majored in business administration, with an emphasis in marketing.
Pinnacle tabs senior VP
Pinnacle Financial Partners has recruited a senior wealth advisor from Regions Bank for its West End Avenue office.
Matt Little  has joined Pinnacle as a senior vice president and financial advisor. He has 17 years of experience at Regions Bank and the former First American, where he most recently worked at the Regions/Morgan Keegan Private Banking Division on Music Row.
Little holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from Lipscomb University. He is a member of the Country Music Association, Nashville Songwriters Association International and the National Academy of the Recording Arts and Sciences.
Pinnacle’s recruitment of Little is the second such hire in recent months for the 13-year-old bank. In September, the bank said it had brought on board 23-year Rutherford County veteran Kelvin Kennamer. Pinnacle also has recruited a number of experienced commercial bankers.
Nissan names VP of finance
Nissan has announced that Carlos Servin , currently regional vice president of finance at Nissan Mexicana and Latin America, has been named vice president of finance for Franklin-based Nissan Americas, effective Jan. 14, 2013.
Servin replaces Jett Johns, who has been appointed vice president of finance at Nissan Europe.
Servin joined NMEX in 2008 as director of finance and became regional vice president of finance in 2012. Before his career with Nissan, Servin worked with the Ford Group in Mexico as the global director for financial planning of Volvo. He also spent time on special assignment with Ford in the U.S. as a controller for the general & administrative group.
"Carlos' work at NMEX and Latin America led to enhanced financial processes and a more efficient reporting system," Scott Becker, Nissan's senior vice president of administration and finance, said in a release. "His strategic mindset is a valuable asset, and we look forward to working with him to help meet our midterm business plan goals."
Servin's position change follows the announcement earlier this week that Nissan has named José Muñoz as senior vice president of sales and marketing.
MP&F hires staff associate
McNeely Pigott & Fox Public Relations has hired Maddie Taylor  as a staff associate.
Previously, Taylor worked in Quebec as a public relations specialist for Beaulieu Canada. While there, she worked through print, radio, television and social media outlets to increase consumer awareness and promote new products.
Taylor graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism.
Capella adds VP
Franklin-based Capella Healthcare has appointed Giselle Krieger  as vice president, risk management.
For the past four years, Krieger has served as director of risk management and patient safety officer at Parkway Medical Center in Decatur, Ala. Additionally, she worked for four years in Saudi Arabia as a charge nurse in emergency services.
Currently serving as president of the Alabama Association for Healthcare Risk Management, Krieger holds a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from the University of Alabama-Huntsville and a Master of Science degree in patient safety leadership from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
