Marvin Peek, coach of a 14-year-old girls softball team in Donelson, was arrested on Monday and charged with aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor.
The arrest stemmed from a child porn investigation in Connecticut.
Peek, 54, had dozens of pornographic videos of young girls on his laptop, police said. He admitted to sending and receiving graphic images of minors on a near daily basis. He also admitted to sending four pornographic videos of minor females through Yahoo Messenger minutes before Metro Nashville Police Department detectives arrived at his home, according to a statement from police.
Police contacted representatives of the softball league informing them of Peek’s arrest. There is no indication that any softball players were linked to Peek’s alleged crimes. Peek was released on a $15,000 bond on Monday.
