The Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Violent Crime Task Force filed a criminal complaint against a man allegedly involved in two Hermitage area robberies over the past month.
Federal authorities believe Mark Louis Wilkins Sr. was responsible for a U.S. Bank robbery on April 24 and a Pinnacle Bank robbery on May 9. Wilkins took a combined $1,311 from the two banks, according to authorities.
Metro Nashville Police Department detectives picked up a fingerprint that identified Wilkins. Investigators also interviewed Wilkins' son, who positively identified him in security camera photos from both crime scenes.
Wilkins was arrested on a probation violation last weekend. His criminal history includes assault and drug charges in Nashville.
